Some time early next week the Colours in Muskoka and Algonquin Park will reach their peak.

The Algonquin Park Fall Foilage Colour Report indicates that the colours are currently near their peak and will reach the peak early next. The report also provides information on the best places to view the many coloured coat of fall leaves. A Map of the 56 K highway 60 Corridor provides details on all the popular spots along the route.

Hi kathy - The photo of that tree is just stunning! Thanks so much for sharing it here.
Hi Kathy, Thank you sharing. The Fall colours are amazing.
We are a little behind you here in South Simcoe, Kathy, but you know its coming =)
Judy - Nature trying on her fall finery
Ema - fall colours always seem the best just after a rain with the sun shining on the trees and the dark rain clouds as a backdrop
Rosalind - Thank You!
Chris - The same here in Uxbridge ..... this is the time of year Barrie misses the least about living in town ..... we used to have 8 - 100 hundred year old maples on our property and it took forever and several weeks to round up all the leaves.
Hi Kathy - I have never seen the Algonquin Fall Leaf Report. I certainly need to keep it in mind in future years. I also agree with your comment # 6.
Kathy, When we lived in Boston, we used to go up to Maine, New Hampshire and part of Massachusetts to see the changing of the colors . Everyone should see it at least once in their lifetime...you just brought some great memories back. Thank you.
Endre - Another great area is the lake district of New York Barrie and I were there in the fall a few years ago and the colours were fantastic
Marc - The Parks colour chart is now in the peak colour area this week is a good time for anyone planning a colour road trip.
